Doughnut Diaries: Salted Caramel, Mary Street Bakery

With gelatinous slime oozing out of an overly sugared dough ball, we had high hopes at first sight of the Salted Caramel delight on offer from the Mary Street Bakery.  Unfortunately, although each bite certainly delivered something decadent, the salted caramel was probably a bit too rich, and the dough itself crispy almost to the point of being overcooked.

Also, upon each bite a stream of salted caramel would gush out, leaving you a little bit like Augustus Gloop swimming in Willy Wonka's chocolate river.

Definitely worth a try, but bring friends to help you.  You'll need them.
